A 28-year-old was killed shortly before noon Friday in a wreck with a big rig on Highway 84 West near the Sportsplex. Nathan Odell Hatten of Taylorsville was driving a 2005 Toyota Camry that was attempting to cross from the south side of the highway at the Sportsplex to Flynt Road, Laurel police said.
